Black '08

Last night included lots of hail. High winds and hail. Rain, more rain and thunder and lightning. All of these couldn't have been out done by darkness.

Guess what though!? We still get to put out a paper.

Surfing in January

Nothing special about this photo, but never complain there is nothing to do in Michigan in January. How many other states can you surf in? Unfortunately for these Grand Haven kids the water was fairly flat with light whitecaps and a strong current.

Happy New Years

New Years was spent at the Amway Hotel in Grand Rapids. It was amazingly large hotel and extremely first class. Dinner was had a nice Italian restaurant, followed by a party in the President's Ballroom.

This mirror shot reminds me of the Ring. It is kind of creepy and eerie. There were so many cool mirrors at the Amway. I could spend days inside the Amway photographing cool things.

I think the light fluffy snow added to our walk. It was so pretty and movie like. Grand Rapids is an amazing city/town. It is one of my favorite places to visit and I wish vistied more often.
