The Little Engine that Almost Did

I have more photos to upload, but they are not toned or sharpened. These aren't done yet either but I really wanted put something up. Hope you enjoy.

The second half was starting and I saw the Purdue band playing cards and getting dressed in the tunnel of Ford Field. I saw this and knew what Brett would do. He preaches about thinking outside of the box and making ducks into pheasants. I saw the potential for this photo and didn't execute. I wish I would have taken the time to take my telephoto off, missed a few minutes of the game and produced an out of the box photo. Instead I was in a rush to photograph guys running and blocking.

I have better, but this was the first one I toned. This picture lead to a catch and eventually a TD for Purdue. CMU was so close, but so far away the whole game.

more coming....

Christmas

Went to my mom's on Christmas Eve. Slept on an air-mattress in Zach's room. Wouldn't call it sleep thought the dogs kind of over took the bed as their own.

Christmas is always an interesting time for me.
I'm not sure what happened, but some where in the last 5-6 all meaning.
It was still nice though and I'm thankful for what I have.

If you find random f's in my typing it's because my F-Key is extremely oversensitive.

Pushing Myself

All I can think about when I'm at work or sitting on the couch is I should be shooting. I should be finding that amazing photo because as we speak someone is adding it to their portfolio.

Spur of the moment, pick up the camera and shoot event is below. My roommate and his friends from high school came home with NERF guns (I'm jealous)and started a snow ball fight.

Ready for the next drive

Thursday night was 5th-mas. Friday I worked. Saturday I started my somewhat of an adventure.

This one just makes me laugh. You have to love 5th-mas. This photo looks like Tom is tormenting me and loving it.

I blew this photo out because it was kind of a pull out of the bag and shoot. Sadly I had my ISO way up and my aperture wide open, ohh well. This photo to me is just happiness. There is something about it that makes me smile and fell at home.

Packing up ready to hit the road home.
I find it amazing how much things change when your gone. I didn't see half the people I wanted to see while I was here. In one ways it's and excuse to comeback and in another it is me not wanting to accept change. Kind of sad to think people move on so easily. I'm not sure what I expected, but I guess maybe I just had this little glimour of hope it would all be the same.

The drunken shenanigans. Walking halfway across town to get to our favorite bar. In the process having a snowball fight, falling on the ice and playing doorbell ditch.

Pat dancing with extremely old women. Norm being harassed by a senior citizen. Boddy burning a whole in someones jacket. Chris and his laugh. Walking home and being really loud. Me jumping over cars and running into things. Zac making it all the way home out falling until he hits Pat's drive and goes Dutch on everyone.

Amazing I guess how certain things don't change.

Exams are over and more will come

Eight year old Detroit resident T'elay Forbes protests outside of the Isabella County District Courthouse. Protesters from across Michigan came to Mount Pleasant to demand Isabella County Prosecuting Attorney Larry Burdick sentence the student who hung three nooses on the CMU campus.
