Today I was walking the UC with so many things on mind. I walk out of Moore and as I walk by Brooks I see something out to the corner of my eye.
What did I see? Something I usually pass up; an opportunity.
It was a chance to get another photo in the paper, a chance to build my portfolio, the chance to build upon my skills and a chance to test my courage.
There was something different this time when I walked by. Do you know what it was? I was frustrated with everything that I managed to keep the fear and anxiety to a minimum.
The results equaled something amazing. Sure the picture isn't perfect and I should have taken more time in getting "the photo" but this isn't about the photo.
This is about finding myself and coming to the conclusion that fear is just in my head. Today made me realize "he" isn't always right. He doesn't have all the answers and grades are subjective and mean shit in the real world.
